Let’s Share Some Laughs
Let’s Have Some Coffee
Coffee is a big deal. It is a ritual that should not be messed with! But did you ever think that coffee is life? For some this may be an over-exaggeration, but for the coffee farmers it is an absolute reality. Dukale, a coffee farmer in Ethiopia, was the inspiration behind Hugh Jackman’s Laughing Man Coffee Company. With this connection grew a coffee brand, two cafes in Manhattan, and the brand is now a part of Keurig. The core of Laughing Man Coffee Company is Fair Trade Coffee, and how it makes a difference to the coffee farmer. It’s not just a coffee that spreads positivity, but it is also a quality cup of joe that has a variety of blends to satisfy folks looking for boldness (Columbia Huila dark roast), or want something smoother (Dukale’s Blend). Let’s spread the energy (thank you caffeine), and let’s spread the positivity (thank you Laughing Man)!
PepsiCo Expands
To BFY Brands
This just in. PepsiCo, Inc. announced this week that it entered into an agreement to acquire BFY Brands. If you didn’t know, BFY Brands are the makers of tasty snacks such as PopCorners, which includes Flex Protein Crisps and Flourish Veggie Crisps. This new add is just another way that Frito-Lay is expanding its Winning with Purpose snacking portfolio which strives to offer consumers more nutritious, snack-forward brands. This isn’t a done deal just yet, as regulatory approvals are still needed. If you haven’t tried PopCorners yet, I sure hope you do soon! My personal favorite is the PopCorners Kettle Corn, a mix of sweet & salty, crunchy and wholesome popped-corn, that’s never fried, has only 4 ingredients, and is certified gluten-free and non-GMO. I’ll pop to that!
