But I’m a Tracie
You meet a new person, exchange names, and bam- you forget it! Why does this conundrum happen? Because people don’t remember things they’re not motivated to learn – ouch! Another potential reason is that we underestimate the work needed to actually remember a name. Common names aren’t remembered because they don’t strike you, but rare names aren’t as recognizable, so they’re harder to recall. So how do we go about improving our ability to remember? Mnemonic devices, finding distinctive features about a person, and repetition are all good methods when it comes to remembering names. Because, as Dale Carnegie once said, “A person’s name is to that person, the sweetest, most important sound in any language.”
Yes!
Yes, Yes, Yes… Recyclable Paper!
Nestlé is taking a pioneering step in its commitment to the environment with the launch of its Yes! snack bars in a new recyclable paper wrapper. Nestlé announced it’s commitment to making all of its packaging recyclable or reusable by 2025, and a step in the right direction includes Yes! snack bars. The new recyclable paper wrapper is from sustainable sources certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and The Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification. This means that not only are the ingredients natural, but the packaging is sustainable, which is absolutely what’s on trend. In case you didn’t know, Yes! snack bars are made with wholesome ingredients like fruit, veggies, and nuts. Although these new recyclable wrappers are being launched in more countries, so far they haven’t made it to the U.S. and Canada – yet! But once they do, rest assured we’re ready!
Yours Truly,
Tracie T.
